Xmas Presents for the Husband

Does he have a favorite dinner dish that you prepare, or his favorite cookies, or cake that you can make? You know the way to a man's heart is through his stomach. LOL Also be careful of doing something for him after you both agreed not to do for each other. He may feel guilty if you do for him and he was following the agreement of "not this year".
Write him a poem to let him know how much he means to you (a gift that money can't buy). Or do that thing that "he loves" but rarely gets when the two of you are alone. "wink, wink, hint, hint".

Could always make him cupons for stuff. Like making him his favorite dinners, or a back rub etc. They always seem to like that kind of stuff.
Or if all else fails, photos of yourself in his favorite lingerie always works.

My husband and I do budget a small amount for each other but also like to do cheap "stupid" things. He already hinted that a homemade coupon book would be fun (the ones at Spencer's are too trashy, but you can make some that are fun and sexy and personal at the same time).

** Bake him his favorite cookies.
** A framed photo of you and your kids.
** A hot sexy love letter, or a sweet and sentimental one if that works better for you.
** Special Christmas boxers (you can probably even find them on sale).
** Have the kids paint a mug or a t-shirt for him.
** If you already have an established iTunes account, down load some of "your songs" onto a CD for him.

Here's just a few of the ideas that I could come up with off the top of my head. I'm sure that whatever you give him, he'll appreciate just the same. Happy Holidays!

If you agreed not to get each other something, then maybe do/make something for the both of you to enjoy together? Many of the ideas given could be presented in this way.

what about a calendar of family photos for the new year? That's cheap yet will bring him much joy thru 2011.

Good luck, and don't get too bummed out if he doesn't do a 'little' something for you... we did this one year and I didn't even get a card!!! His dad had to let him in on the marriage secret of no gifts means at least a card!!

How about 6 coupons for backrubs/massages? Date night with his favorite homecooked foods? 6 undisturbed Monday Night Football games with his favorite snacks?

A few ideas came to mind:
make him a coupon book ie: good for one massage--ect (12 coupons good for one month)
make his favorite breakfast Christmas morning
polish his shoes
take over one of his chores for a week or month (ie paying bills -- washing the car)
I would still get him something even if it's something from the dollar store.
