3 Year Old Girl Birthday Party

Hi there. We are having a "Glamour" Birthday party for my little 3 year old Glamour Girl. She LOVES nail polish and lipstick and dressing up. Anyways, I have already purchased star studded sunglasses and boas (the feather kneck things) for the girls to dress up in while at the party, but what can I do "glamouris" for boys? The party is in two weekends so I have some time to think, but I just don't know what to get for the boys to dress up in or play with for the party. Thanks!

My 4-Year-old Constantly Wants Me to Play with Her: Advice?

Hi, Just wondering how other moms have responded to their young kids when they want you to play with them. Lately my 4-year-old daughter is constantly asking me to play with her (usually pretend-play), and gets upset when I have to do other things like housework. She seems to have lost the ability to entertain herself, and it's driving me a bit crazy. She has a younger brother (19 months), but he's too young to really play with her the way that she wants to. Any ideas on what to do?

Birthday Place for a 3-Year Old

Anyone know of a good and affordable place to have a birthday party for a 3 year old? We had the last 2 birthday parties at our house, but this year we want to try something different. I was just wondering if anyone has thrown a toddler birthday party for their kids somewhere and enjoyed it. If so, please let me know the place. Suggestions for 4 Year Old Birthday Party

Hi, My daughter is turning 4 on April 1st, and has decided that she wants a dog themed birthday party. She will be inviting about 6 kids. Has anyone done a party like this before? The only idea I have is to make dog-bone shaped cookies, and have those for "treats" (prizes) after the kids play games. But I don't have ideas for games, food, or a cake...any suggestions would be great--I'm open to all ideas! Thanks!

4 Year Old Behavior

I am wondering if any of you have experienced some of these characteristics with your 4 year old (I have a boy). He can't stand tags in his clothing, socks are too tight, pants are too tight (even though they are not.....), no long sleeve shirts (can't stand them!). Behaviors he has are: tantrums....screaming, yelling, and hitting the bedroom door...etc... when we are transitioning him from one thing to the next...and he is not happy about the next event. Yes, I am a total Star Wars nerd, and my son has become one too!
