Car Seat Napping - Safe?

Hello- My now 11 week old has graduated from 'bouncy chair' napping to car seat. I understand some moms do this and doctors recommend it (for acid reflux issues) but am double-checking on the safety of this practice, as I have read articles that the car seat should be used in a car only. I have a almost 5 month old baby boy with reflux. He was born 13 weeks early. The doctor has him on previcid and it has not seemed to work. We have him on the Similic Advance formula. Infant with Reflux Hates Thickened Formula

My son is 2 months old. Because of food allergies he could not have breast milk. He is on Neocate that needs to be thickened with rice cereal, and he absolutely hates it. When I add pear juice (for constipation) he will happily eat. I don't want to give him juice in every bottle to get him to eat. But, on the other hand feeding times are miserable. Some days he will refuse to eat for hours and just cry from anger and hunger. Is there a parent that has been through this that has a suggestion? Thanks for any help.

Desperate for Allergy Answers

This might seem crazy..but I have had ZERO luck at the pediatrician and allergist finding a solution for my 20 month old son. I thought I would turn to you moms instead. My Two Year Old Has a Cow's Milk and Soy Allergy

We've recently made the discovery that my son has a cow's milk allergy by journaling his food for about a month, then doing a blood test. (He LOVES milk, cheese, ice cream, etc...)
