When my son told me this today, a joke of his, I laughed my pants off!
I could not stop laughing!
Then he says: "Mommy, why does the butt jiggle?" and I say "I don't know, why?" and he says
"Because it's a BOOGIE butt!" (as in dancing).
I don't know where he learned the word "boogie" since its such a throw-back retro word, but he was so proud of his
joke!
I laughed my Pants off!
I needed a laugh.
He made me laugh.
My little man.

Its either nonsensical or potty related or something gross.

My 4 year old just discovered knock-knock jokes. Yesterday:
Her: knock-knock!
Me: Who's there?
Her: (says her first name)
Me: (her first name) who?
Her: (says her first name and last name)!
I thought it was pretty funny:)
discovering jokes is the BEST stage! the only ones my son has made up so far haven't made much sense (why did the chicken cross the road? because it was a caillou-chicken-head! lol) but my favorite is:

My son is three and a half and his jokes are so incredibly bad, they make me laugh in spite of myself. It's usually a knock knock joke consisting of whatever object he has in his plane of view. However ... here's a good one I heard the other day that is totally kid friendly.

(then, right away you ask)
