My inlaws' 50th anniversary is coming up on February 20, 2010. They would like a nice family dinner with a few other close relatives, and maybe even the pastor and his wife who married them...if we can find an address and they're still around. They hosted our rehearsal dinner at the Cattleman's and they would like a nice place like that for the dinner. They were not too happy about it being a big long table, though. It was for the same number of people and we just had a room with one very long table set up. My mother-in-law would like the dinner to feel closer where everyone can converse easily and yet still be a nice place of that caliber. Do any of you mom's have any ideas?
Thanks!
Loni

Fort Worth - Reata has a glassed in room that would be nice for a gathering. Though food is yummy, it's also pricey

Brio (sp??) - in Southlake Town Center. Nice italian and a room in the back you could host the part. Love this place!!!

Dallas - Maggiano's LIttle Italy - super yummy; they have rooms you can book and you can also order "family style." Great location and menu for larger parties. (Hwy 75 and Northwest Hwy - Northpark Mall)

I would think all have websites.

Good luck!

Reata has several options for smaller intimate rooms for dinner. it can be a little expensive though.

The Historic Stockyards hotel has a great facility adn their events are catered by the H3 steakhouse.

Mimi's cafe has great food and they do private events as well in the back.

Dos Gringos is alittle more casual but they have a private party room upstairs. You can decorate etc. I have hosted rehersal dinners up there before.

I am in the wedding biz so I have a lot of contacts adn could refer you to anything you may need. Feel free to message me if you need any help or have any questions I could answer for you.

we had my grandmothers 80th bday party at Celebrations on inwood rd. the food was great and they have private rooms at no additional charge. We had about 30 people there and you can set the room up however you like.

I would also suggest Joe T's and Brio's. Both have great private rooms and the food is great!

Joe T Garcias in Fort Worth is one of my favorites! They have lots of rooms plus people can wonder out to the Gorgeous scenery on the huge patio area. Everything there is family style and the restarunt is family-owned and operated so they are really nice and very accomadating. They have lots of large round tables as well. We have had many gatherings here including my own rehearsal dinner 5 years ago : ) The place is stunning. They actually host many weddings and receptions.

Or you can look into rec. centers or other rental rooms and have it catered. I know a great caterer. She has delicious food and great prices plus she is great at setting up and helping you. Let me know if interested in this!

Hope this helps!
