Looking for a Park with a Pavillion

My son is turning one soon and I am hoping to have his party outdoors. I am looking for a park with a pavilion. We have many family members coming (around 60) so there needs to be shade for the elderly. I have tried Coppell parks but they are all booked. Is there a park near Coppell that meets my needs. I am also interested in the Plano area.

Thanks
R.

There's pavilions in Grapevine if you want to come our way. Also, we put on birthday parties and can take care f the food, etc so all you have to do is enjoy - www.AdventureDayCamps.com - we can structure a party for all ages. Give me a call if interested - ###-###-####

If you go the City of Plano or City of Frisco websites and then Parks and Recreation they will have a listing of all their parks and what features they have. I know for sure that Frisco's website lists all that. Frisco has several parks with Pavillions, restrooms, etc. The park in Allen the other mom was referring to is Celebration Park. It is absolutely wonderful but it would be a very far drive for you. Good luck!

Central Park in Lewisville (Edmonds, just north of 121 Bypass), has lots of shade, a pavilion, bathrooms, 2 playgrounds (one for bigger kids, one for smaller), etc.

Rheudasil Park & Pond has a pavilion, lots of shade, a playground, and a nice pond and fountain. Unfortunately, no bathrooms.

Kids Kastle in Highland Village might be a litte far, but they've got the pavilion, pond, play structure (just like in Coppell), and bathrooms.

These can all be found at: http://familyeguide.com/Local-Parks-Favorites.html, along with links, so you can contact the parks departments directly.

Good luck!
