I would just have my makeup and hair professionally done for the wedding. That is a treat in itself.
My sister is getting married in 3 weeks. I am thinking of getting some eyelash extensions. Has anyone gotten them before? I'll be the oldest bridesmaid and the only one who's had a baby. The others are all skinny and tall, including my sisters. Just wanting a little treat.

How about heels and Spanx instead? LOL
I'd rather get a mani/pedi!
My sister's getting married in 6 weeks. I, too am the oldest bridesmaid, the only who has given birth and let's just say I'm not overly thrilled to be standing next to those skinny minis, lol!
I will be treating myself to a spa day before we leave for the wedding. You see, they might be young and skinny, but I'm established and can afford a spa day! ;)
I'd splurge for the mani-pedi and whatever else you can afford. Instead of eyelash extensions, get the strips from Walmart (they're like $2) and put on your own eyelashes. Then you'll look like a million and did it on the cheap!
I have been getting eyelash extensions every 3 weeks for the past 4 years. I LOVE them! Not painful at all. You just lay there with your eyes closed for about 45 minutes. Each lash is individually glued on. Go for it. You will adore them.
I wouldn't worry about the lashes. I have very curly short upper lashes and non existent bottoms but don't worry about that. Play up your best facial features. Wear a dress that fits your shape and size to perfection and be confident. Confidence can blow any other woman out the water. It has always been my secret weapon even when I feel frumpy I just strut what I do have with the utmost confidence. Afterall in my mind, I'm the sexiest, finest, most elegant lady in any room. Give it a try and see what happens.
I'm a stylist and have done these before. Obviously, they eventually fall out when your natural lash does (about every two montsh) and will be noticeable if you still have a few stray long ones... but you can just easily trim those off with small scissors if you like.
They are nice, but I tend to agree with some other moms, I'd rather get a good, inexpensive lash set you can put on yourself and then get a mani/pedi/wrap done.
I hear they're extremely expensive for both the initial application and the upkeep. Do something else nice for yourself instead.
My friend has them and she loves them but you have to go every few weeks and have more done because your lashes naturally fall out and then it looks weird. But when they are done regularly they look beautiful.
Go ahead have some fun and take up yoga. You won't believe what a great figure you have again in 6 months of 40 minutes per day five days a week.
