Okay mama heading into a hard day.
All is ok but I have my work cut out for me w/helping take care of my parents and will have my toddler w/me.
It's a long, grueling day but I love my family! I am so lucky to have them.
So when I hit the tough spot today, what positive words of affirmation can I repeat to myself to remind me of how lucky
I am? TIA :)
Well I am sure there have been MANY times when they've helped YOU, right? With or without a toddler/time/money to do so.
So maybe just keep that appreciation in check?

I am a wonderful mother and daughter. My children are learning from me that there is a tremendous value in loving and caring for our elders. Because I am showing this to them, they will love and care for me some day. I am blessed and will be blessed all the days of my life.
Just that... "I am lucky b/c I LOVE my family" or "I am lucky b/c I have family"

I choose praise rather than affirmation. Thank You God for my family. Thank you that they are healthy. Thank you God for my healthy, happy children. Thank you God for my job and the ability to provide for my family. Thank you God for giving me the strength and wisdom to take care of my family. Thank you God that my parents are here to know my children. Thank you for all you have given us and asked so little in return.
