Hey ladies - we are planning to get my almost two year old son into a twin bed in the next few weeks. I'm looking to buy a sheet set and wondering if any of you have used t-shirt sheets with your young todllers? They seem very comfortable and light weight. Do you see any problems with using these? Or do you have better suggestions? Thanks.

What can I do next?

I've been using using jersey sheets on my son's toddler bed for over a year. They are easier to put on & take off, and very soft and comfy!

I think you are talking about the jersey sheets? I love those and I have a set on my daughter's twin bed....they seem great. Very soft and easy to wash. Also, they are like 14.99 at Target for a set with flat sheet, fitted sheet, and pillow case, so you can't beat that! Just make sure you buy some plastic sheets for when you potty train, so the mattress doesn't get ruined =)

My son uses jersey sheets when his Thomas ones get wet or dirty. The only thing is they tend to slip off on our big bed but seem to stay just fine on his. Guess he doesn;t move around as much as we do!

I bought some t-shirt sheets for my daughter's new big girl bed, but they didn't fit the thicker mattress that we bought for her bed. They fit the mattress that we bought for her trundle bed which is a thinner, much less expensive, much less supportive mattress than the one we bought for her to sleep on. If you are lucky enough to find some that fit your mattress, make sure you buy at least 2 sets for when you are night potty training and double make the bed with a waterproof fitted mattress pad, then fitted sheet, then waterproof flat pad then fitted sheet over that. If they have an accident in the middle of the night, you don't have to completely make the bed, just pull the top sheet and pad and the bed is still made. Makes for an easier transition for your sleepy toddler.

Both my kids have them and they are their favorites. They like them better than their regular, cotton, sheets. We also have "fleece" like ones for the winter.
