Hi Moms,

I just posted a Santa website I found, for mom's to create a video for their children... The question (even though it wasn't a question, I was just sharing the cute website) was taken down.. Anyone know why?

You can't have the link in the question, post it again, but put the link in the So What Happened section.

People get snippy about links in questions. I got the pointy finger for putting a link in one of mine but I think really people need to get over it.

Is this the one you meant? http://www.portablenorthpole.tv/home

Links in questions typically mean automatic removal.

Try posting again with question, and then adding a SWH with the link.

Heck. Put it in this question's SWH.

Probably because you didn't ask a question. Try reposting using a question and see what happens.

"Has anyone seen this cool Santa site?"

So you now you know the "rules." :)

I have to agree that the Santa website you mention, ROCKS! We've done it for 3 years now.

It is free. They will ask you in a month or so from now if you want to download it or have a DVD sent to you for like $8 (last year anyway).

I also think they collect some marketing information, but you don't give too much info away. I'm a freak about that sort of stuff (about not giving info) and haven't found any issues with it (no extra emails or anything).

Same thing happened to me a couple of months ago when I asked if anyone could use a Gymboree coupon code...which I have some of right now and won't be using, and it was pulled even though I didn't have a link and the reason was I was promoting or seeking business :-/

Don't forget to check out Norad's Santa Tracker site, mamas, so your little ones can follow him as he makes his deliveries on Christmas Eve:

And my friend shared your site with me few days ago, it is so cute!! : )

The rules about not promoting things on here probably prompted it.

I have found a great deal on a site I would love to share with all of you, but I know it would be pulled. It has to be a question attached and a reason for the attachment.

Another Momma on this site suggested this on a post several weeks ago. It is great!! So glad us ladies can share these special little secrets! My son is still talking about how he was on the "good boy list", so darn adorable!!

Hmmm. I asked a question on Saturday, included a link in my question, and it stayed! Here was my link : http://www.sendacallfromsanta.com/

You can set it up so that Santa calls your phone number to talk to your kiddo. Free too.
