Since I quit smoking a month ago, I am going to use that as my new years resolution...
and maybe I will throw in there some weight loss :-)
Lee just posted a question about Christmas which got me thinking...
What will your new year's resolution be this year??
I'm going to resolve to be more patient... and that's all I've got so far, which is why I'm asking ;)

To be more verbally appreciative toward my husband... over the last several years he has done everything he can to make my professional dreams happen, including adjusting his work schedule to be the drop-off/pick-up parent, taking days off to be home with a sick child, not going golfing b/c I have to work late, etc.
He is also doing all the updates on our house so that we can sell it and move closer to my family. To say that I am homesick is an understatement. I don't tell him nearly often enough how much his efforts and support have made everything possible-
Well, R., since you are piggybacking off my Christmas question, I'll be happy to respond to yours!!! :)
As for New Years resolutions, I have none. I NEVER keep them. So I have given up on making them, and then being disgusted with myself for not keeping them.
However, on a daily basis, I am trying to resolve myself be more secure in my choices, and to live every moment of every day in that moment. It's so darned easy to get side-tracked. But I am really working on it.
And I want to be a better mother, and a better fiance, soon to be wife. I have my work cut out for me!
better job, be more active, stop vices, loose some pounds, travel more, stay more positive, deal with probs better, pick up a hobbie
I am really trying to work on being more patient and TRYING to ease up on the stress - sort of a lifelong resolution that's not going too well right now!
