Actually, one of my resolutions is to stop coming onto this forum next year because I have a lot of work to get done while my son still has preschool and this probably isn't the best use of my time.

Goals:
Sew linen pants for next summer.
Sew curtains for Kiddo's room (because I hate the blinds)
Officially organize and pack up preschool gear. Better organize toy overflow.
Massive purge of household material goods.
Work on garden once spring comes (which means having the other stuff done).
Work on self so that I'm getting better exercise than I am now. More walking!

I like many people's voices on this forum, but probably have to point my nose homeward for a while.

Now that you've got us talking, what are your resolutions/goals? :)

I've lost 12lbs in the last month and a half. My resolution is to keep doing what I'm doing. Not to give up. Hang in there, because the hard work is paying off.

I generally do not make new years resolutions. I know myself better than that and I won't stick to them. But I will make a half assed attempt to floss regularly. That's as close to a resolution as I get.

I made two for 2012 and I'm starting them this week:

1. Take better care of the house (don't leave dishes in the sink overnight, put laundry away more quickly after folding it, etc)

2. Take better care of myself (diet and exercise)

actually i never was a resolution maker. too immature i guess, not ready to "commit" to a lifestyle change. at least i was honest with myself! :)

this year i am ready. in august i started a new healthy lifestyle and i have lost 18 lbs :) my goal is to NOT QUIT. if i stay on my current path i will have lost 70 lbs a year from now - so i am very determined. i have been exercising daily and (trying!) to watch what i eat - that part's harder lol. but i have done really well and i feel much stronger and healthier already, AND i am looking better. so i have RESOLVED to keep at it. not worry so much about the numbers, not beat myself up for not eating a perfect diet, but KEEP AT IT. if i keep exercising, i keep losing weight.

the other thing is my husband and i are doing dave ramsey's Financial Peace University - so that part of my resolution has kinda already been put into motion - we wrote the check, it starts next week. i am willing to give it a try and i figure it can do nothing but help us.

we also want to move out of the city before our son starts kindergarten in august. so that has also become a bit of a mini-resolution for me. more like a goal - and i usually achieve goals i really want!

i sometimes make resolutions but not always. the other day i told myself i would stop typing in all lowercase in the new year (you have to pick something easy) and to be more spiritual (and then pick something tougher). good luck!
